For delivery by December 24, FedEx lists Ground Economy by December 14; Express Saver by December 21; 2Day by December 22; overnight services by December 23; and SameDay by December 24. Ground and Home Delivery depend on one-to-five-day transit time.
Open the official FedEx 2026 deadline PDFUPS says all-service delivery is available on December 24. Christmas Eve pickup is limited to Air and international Air arranged by December 18, with no Ground pickup. Regular pickup and delivery are unavailable on December 25.

Build in room
Start with the date the package must arrive, then work backward using the carrier’s quoted transit time. Add the seller’s handling time and a buffer for peak-season delays.
Ground services depend most heavily on the origin and destination ZIP codes. International packages can also require customs time, so use the carrier’s live quote rather than a national date alone.
